The variables that determine the sample size are population size, margin of error, confidence level, and standard deviation.

N: population size
The total population of the group to be analyzed
(e.g., total number of voters in an election poll)
n: sample size
The total number of respondents in a survey
e: margin of error or confidence interval
Z: The z-score corresponding to the confidence level is used.
P: observed percentage Usually, P=0.5 is used to obtain the maximum sampling error.
